This famous Buddhist temple, dating from the 8th and 9th centuries, is located in central Java. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base with five concentric square terraces, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and, at the top, a monumental stupa. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs, covering a total surface area of 2,500 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. The Borobudur temple is included in seven wonders world.

Rawa Pening located at Semarang District, Central Java.  It serves as a source of power, irrigation, and flood control, and is used for fishing also there are a lot of aquatic plants. This is the most favorite spot to enjoy the morning view. The area of swamp is surrounded by the foot of Mount Merbabu, Telomoyo, Ungaran and Kendali Sodo. This area is belong to 4 districts in Semarang. Visitors can also take a boat along this swamp. One of popular products from Rawa Pening is the craft made by water hyacinth.

Sam Poo Kong, Semarang

The Sam Poo Kong Temple, also known as Gedung Batu, is the oldest Chinese temple in Semarang, capital of the province of Central Java. Unlike most temples, the building does not belong to any specific religion, but rather functions as a place of worship for people of various ethnicities and religious groups including Buddhists, Taoists and muslims. The temple is painted with a magnificent red color and crowned with a triple-layered pagoda-style roof, typical of East Asian culture. The surrounding area is thick with incense smoke, giving the feel of being in China itself.

Equally with Laweyan Solo batik village, or Jogja, here you will be satisfied with millions of diverse batik. Especially for those travelers looking for Batik Semarang, obliged to visit here. Because this is where the origin of the batik arose following the damage in the Japanese colonial period. Today was still the main production source of motive Batik Semarang. Located not far from Pasar Johar and the famous Old Town.
